YOUR INSTRUCTOR

My name is John Guest. I fully qualified as a D.S.A. Approved Driving Instructor (Car) in 1993. I qualified as a DSA Fleet Trainer in 2008.

I have also undergone further training and now hold the Diploma in Driving Instruction (Dip. D.I.), and the City & Guilds 730 Teaching Certificate. I have recently taken an interest in new Coaching methods and have done courses in NLP. These methods are very successful with conquering Driving Test nerves.

Not wishing to become complacent with my own driving I took The Institute of Advanced Motorists Test in 1995 and the ROSPA Advanced Test in 2006. I take a keen interest in the Driver Training industry, involving membership of the A.D.I. Federation, the Driving Instructors Democratic Union (DIDU), and the D.I.A. I am also a committee member for the Blackpool and District Driving Instructors Association.
